Say Grace Before A Guinness by Mal Grosch

Say grace before a Guinness
Thank God with all your heart
For it’s body’s like a cassock
And priest’s collar at the start

For drunk in moderation
It is a wholesome food
So praise Him for the barley
And the art with which its brewed

For to drink it in fair measure
Amongst some dear old friends
It is a reinforcement
When with tiredness days do end

So step back and admire it
All the craftsmanship displayed
Give thanks in mind and body
For the landlord and his trade

Mal Grosch

Frantisek Vlácil:Glass Skies

Saw Glass Skies in the foyer of the BFI; it is only 18 minutes long (you could nip in on your fag break?) but its right up there with Grizzly Man and Burnt by the Sun. There I said it.

The Director is: Frantisek Vlácil

The expressions are what make it for me.

he said, I said, she said

I was at work, sketching away and they were applying the *&$#%@???!!!! pressure.
He said: "We need to pick it up, been stuck on 5 sales for 20 minutes. Can you write down your sales?"
I said: "Watch out this pen is from Canada. It might write in French and/or English...It has a mind of its own."
She said: "Guys can you not talk, we need more sales, you've been on wrap for five minutes."
So I hopped it for the loo. Just had to.
Then I thought more about it.
